SiK e.V. is a non-profit organization in Dresden that specializes in the development of intercultural skills for migrant organizations and the host society. We use innovative and digital technologies such as video, radio and podcasts to achieve our goals. The core of our project “Radio empowerment for young migrants” is to create a space of encounter, learning and psychosocial empowerment for young adults with migration experience who live, study or work in Dresden.
We are planning to hold four weekend radio workshops for the linguistic and psychosocial empowerment of participants, who will develop new technical, theoretical and practical skills in dealing with digital formats. These workshops will help to strengthen intercultural integration work in Dresden and promote innovative learning. Six radio/podcast programs will be produced in digital format that can be published on various channels and platforms such as radio and the internet. This will make it possible to extend the reach of the work done and increase the multiplier effect of the intercultural message, promoting greater dissemination and understanding.
