Cottbus Refugee Network
Start: December 2024
Our association was founded in 2017. Our network supports people with a refugee or migrant background, with a particular focus on women, refugees and migration. Our project is called “Photography creates the visible” and is divided into two main areas: Education and Photography.
In two events, we will work together with a speaker on how children can recognize and accept their identity and thus strengthen their self-confidence. We would then like to combine what we have learned from the discussions with photography. We want to use photography as a creative method for self-reflection. In two workshops, the children will learn the basics of photography under the guidance of photographers. This project aims to provide the children with the space and tools to express their identity and perspectives in a self-confident and creative way.
